Wagga Wagga is a major railway station on the Main Southern railway line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the city of Wagga Wagga, and is located at Station Place in the city's CBD. The station opened in 1879 as South Wagga Wagga, and was renamed as Wagga Wagga in 1883.[1] It previously served as a junction point for the now closed Tumbarumba line. It is currently served by twice daily XPT trains between Sydney and Melbourne.
