Kerron Dean Samuels (born 21 July 2006) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Premier League club Brentford.
Samuels is a product of the Chelsea and Liverpool academies and he began his professional career with Brentford in 2024.
Career
editYouth years
editA central defender, Samuels began his youth career in the Shield,[2] Chelsea and Liverpool academies.[3] He embarked on a two-year scholarship with the latter club at the beginning of the 2022–23 season,[4] but elected play his second scholarship year with Brentford.[5] On 30 June 2024, Samuels' scholarship transitioned into a one-year professional contract, with the option of a further year.[3]
