Undeletions edit

  • 1 - 15: These were done as part of cleanup in response to the current AN thread, in this case I deleted bad edits that I should not have restored, and restored edits that should be OK (in some cases this was just restoring a redirect and no other content). OK, AFAIK.
  • 16 - 17: Deleted and undeleted to split the edit history. OK.
  • 18 - 19: PRODs on foreign topics, maybe have sources in other language wikis. OK per WP:PROD, but I asked for help finding more sources.
  • 20: Content was deleted due to notability as part of a mass AFD in 2013, but I found one source so I restored the content under a redirect to that article in case it was needed. I think that should be OK, but will delete again if not.
  • 21: Recent AFD was closed as "redirect" but content was deleted, so I restored the content under a redirect per a request on my talk page from User:Daranios. If my reading of the situation was inappropriate I will delete again.
  • 22: Old revision was nonsense, so I deleted again.
  • 23 - 24: As discussed in the AN thread, these two were articles previously redirected to an article that was then deleted at AFD; I restored the articles so that they could be redirected to a more durable article. OK.
  • 25: I restored old content previously deleted on a different topic of the same name to move the edits, then I redeleted them and created a new article at that space. The new article was taken to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Digital Web under the false assumption that it was related to the prior content, and was closed as keep by User:Missvain. OK, since I deleted the old edits again.
  • 26 – 106: Wow, more than I thought! As discussed in the AN thread, these dozens of articles were previously redirected to a list article that was then deleted at AFD; I restored the articles so that they could be redirected to a more durable article. As brought up in the AN thread, I did not check the logs thoroughly for each article and there were problematic restorations on some that had copyvio or were themselves deleted at AFD already, so as part of my cleanup I deleted all of the edit histories of these just to be on the safe side. Whatever remains there should be OK.
  • 107 – 117: A smaller-scale version of the same situation as the previous group. Three of those were previously deleted at AFD, so I redeleted those.
  • 118: Article redirected to a page that was deleted at AFD, restored to redirect elsewhere. OK.
  • 119 – 142: Another set of articles that were redirected to a list page that was deleted at AFD, so I restored them as redirects to a more durable page. I did not see any problematic deletions in this batch, and most had not been deleted previously. OK.
  • 143: Deleted and restored for history merge of draft done for new version of article by AugusteBlanqui. OK.
  • 144: Article redirected to a page that was deleted at AFD, restored to redirect elsewhere. OK.
  • 145: Article was previously deleted at AFD, so I redeleted.
  • 146: Article redirected to a page that was deleted at AFD, restored to redirect elsewhere. OK.
  • 147 – 149: Another set of articles that were redirected to a list page that was deleted at AFD, so I restored them as redirects to a more durable page. OK.
  • 150 - 151: Deleted and restored to split edit history. OK.
  • 152: Restored previous edit history under new version, should be OK since new version by KGRAMR meets GNG.
  • 153 – 161: Another set of articles that were redirected to an article that was deleted at AFD, so I restored them as redirects to a more durable page. OK.
  • 162 - 163: Article was deleted at AFD, but was previously the result of a merge of two related topics; I restored and split the edit histories so that the edit history of Basilisk (Dungeons & Dragons) would be under that title, and then I deleted all the edits of both per the results of the AFD. Therefore, should be OK.
  • 164: Restored to split the edit history and redeleted per AFD. OK.
  • 165 – 182: I lumped these together here, but these were all redirected to multiple articles that were deleted at AFD so they were deleted as well, so I restored them as redirects to another page. Three of these had previously been deleted at AFD, one of which has already been redeleted, so I redeleted the other two. Otherwise OK.
  • 183 – 184: Restored to split the edit history. OK.
  • 185: Article was redirected to a list that got deleted, so I restored and redirected to a more durable article. OK.
  • 186: Restored the edit history and moved it, and redeleted the edit history so should be OK.
  • 187: Simply restored a deleted plausible redirect.
  • 188 – 189: Restored these after a request from User:Jhenderson777 and a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Comics/Archive 53#Banned user's creations. No opinion on these articles.
  • 190: Article had been speedy deleted due to notability concerns, but I restored after finding multiple reviews. OK.
  • 191: Article had been deleted because it was written like an advertisement, but I restored after finding multiple reviews. Not sure if this was inappropriate, but I deleted the history again just to be on the safe side.
  • 192: Deleted and restored edit history for a merge of a draft article into article space. OK.
  • 193: Restored and moved to draft for improvement.
  • 194: Merged edit history per request on my talk page[1] by User:KGRAMR. OK.
  • 195: Article was moved to draft until it was accepted at AFC. OK.
  • 196 - 197: Deleted and restored to split the edit history. OK.
  • 198: Article was deleted by PROD, so I restored it and improved it. OK.
  • 199 – 201: Restored as deleted but plausible redirects.
  • 202: Article was deleted by PROD, so I restored it and improved it. OK.
  • 203: Article was merged to a list, content was removed from list, redirect was deleted, I restored to merge it to a different article. OK.
  • 204: Article speedy deleted for notability, so I restored and added sources. OK.
  • 205: Article deleted at AFD for notability, but I found multiple reliable sources and restored. OK.
  • 206: Prior edits were deleted for lack of context and article was later started again, I restored them as part of the edit history.
  • 207: Article creator was convinced that the game was not notable so requested deletion, but I found additional sources and restored. OK.
  • 208: Article was deleted at AFD, but I restored and multiple sources have been found. OK.
  • 209: Prior edit history deleted by PROD, restored under new version of article. OK.
  • 210: Article was deleted per PROD, I found multiple sources and restored. OK.
  • 211: Original article was nonsense so I redeleted it.
  • 212: Simply restored a deleted plausible redirect.
  • 213: Article was deleted at AFD due to notability, but I restored because there are multiple sources. OK.
  • 214: I addressed this one as part of items 1-15 above.
  • 215: Restored to move to Draft space
  • 216: I addressed this one as part of items 1-15 above.
  • 217: Restored empty article and redid from scratch after finding sources; nothing harmful was in the old revision but I can delete the old revision if necessary.
  • 218: Speedy deleted due to lack of context, but I found sources and restored. OK.
  • 219-220: Article was deleted per PROD so I found sources and restored; it subsequently survived at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Battle Girl. OK.
  • 221: I restored and moved the edit history to create a new article at that title, and I redeleted the edit history. OK.
