Controversy of Kubra Khan
editIn 2015 she was casted for the lead role in Bollywood movie Welcome 2 Karachi and shooting was almost complete but she opted herself out of that project. According to Kubra "New writer came on midway of shooting and change the script which shows my country in bad light". That role was then offered to Lauren Gottlieb, some scenes of Kubra were retained in the final version of the film and script was rewritten which change her role into a minor one.
