Astrale01's Method for Hunting Vandals!

This is how I hunt vandals, but I do not always hunt the same user until they are blocked. Astrale01^talk_contribs 15:35, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

Requirements:

• Lupin's Anti-Vandal Tool
• Either rollback privileges or Twinkle
• Patience
• Mozilla Firefox v2.0 or higher

The Method

1. Click the All Recent Changes link in your toolbox.
2. Find some vandalism.
3. Make sure that the Use non-admin rollback box is checked if you are not an admin.
4. Once you find vandalism, click the [rollback] link on the recent changes page.
5. Revert the edits on the diff page.
6. There we go; you have found a vandal to hunt.
7. Place the appropriate user warning template on their talk page.
8. Check their contributions for more vandalism.
9. Once you have reverted and warned them 4 times, report them to aiv using Twinkle (click the arv tab) (admins skip this step).
10. The user will get blocked!
11. Good job; repeat step 1!
