I am a 41 year old graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, with a degree in Electronic Media Communications. I live in Tampa, Florida, although I consider Brentwood, Tennessee my home town and I was born in Southern California. I have been visiting Wikipedia for the last several years and have occasionally made edits to correct grammar, spelling, etc. After a problem where I was falsely accused of vandalism I decided to get my own account. I made my first ever serious contribution to Wikipedia in 2008.

I have a passion for politics, and I just finished a second bachelor's degree in political science with a concentration in pre-law at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Many of the contributions I have made to Wikipedia have been to politically-related articles, particularly those that relate in some way to Conservatism in the United States. I consider myself to be a libertarian, although I usually vote for Republicans in general elections. I support Ron Paul in the 2012 United States Presidential Election, and I strongly oppose most of the policies of President Barack Obama. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

I'm a big science fiction fan, particularly of Star Trek. I have an inactive account on Memory Alpha with which I contributed one article (on the Fen Domar) as well as numerous other edits/contributions. My goal when I began pursuing my first of two degrees was to eventually become a writer/producer for television/film and develop my own proposal for the next Star Trek series. Those plans were shelved due to the cancellation of Star Trek: Enterprise and the box-office failure of Star Trek: Nemesis, but nevertheless, I have kept on writing, to a very limited extent. I greatly enjoyed the new Star Trek film that came out this year and was greatly encouraged by its success, but I still don't see much of an avenue for me to get back into that field within the new continuity established by the film.

Besides science fiction, I also enjoy some fantasy novels, particularly the first five books of the Harry Potter series and The Dark Is Rising sequence by Susan Cooper. I am also one of the (apparently) few guys who likes Twilight, which, while interesting, is certainly no Harry Potter (though infinitely better than the last two books of that series). Current TV shows that I enjoy include Fringe, The Office, House, South Park, and Mad Men. My favorite TV show of all time is Babylon 5, my all-time favorite book is Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and my all-time favorite film is Citizen Kane.

That's probably more about me than anyone reading this page would like to know, and more than I ought to give.
