editI am studying English and French to become a teacher for secondary schools. Apart from reading books in these languages, I am passionate about Coldplay and travelling.

editMy suggestions for texts which we could work on in our translation course this semester are the following:
- Unterricht (ca. 3300 words in German, none in English)
- Erinnerungskultur (ca. 2100 words in German, none in English)
- Flüchtlingspolitik (Deutschland) (ca. 2500 words in German, none in English)

editCurrywurst-article: It took me about one hour to translate my part of the article. The German part had about 157 words, which I then translated into English with about 202 words.
Erinnerungskultur-article: I invested about two hours for translating my part of the text, which is the first one (about 270 words). However, this does not include the first revision which I did in class this week. I can't say exactly how much time I spent on the site itself, but I roughly spent about 20 minutes when working on it consistently.
Flüchtlingspolitik (Deutschland)-article: It took me a little more than two hours to do my part of the translation, which is the third one (ca 440 words). Furthermore, I spent fifteen minutes on my first revision after someone else in our group had proof-read it.
