High-definition television edit

"Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from High-definition television. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page."

I did specify a reason; it is on the talk page and the edit summary referred to it. The edit after that was to fix a typo. The article was full of inaccuracies and you just reverted back to them.

"Also, I understand the edits you made to the article, but the diff just looked like it was a huge chunk of referenced text taken out of the article. I apologize if my revert went against your intentions. I would suggest something other than removing a good deal of the table. Maybe explaining the canonical name. Make sure you don't violate WP:NOR. This should probably go on the talk page, but it really doesn't make a whole lot of difference to me."

The other text isn't referenced at all... anyone who knows anything about High-definition video formats knows this "information" is incorrect and nonsensical. Unfortunately, it keeps getting reverted, and the person who's doing it won't respond to my entry on the talk page or support his or her claims at all. I have referenced industry standards for each row of tabular information (where it applies), whereas this person is throwing around terms that do NOT apply to these resolutions. I understand how it might look like information is being lost, but it quite simply does not belong there. I'm not a regular on Wikipedia so I don't know what else I can do to correct this, other than to keep reverting until the other person gives up, which seems very childish and is a waste of time. 71.192.23.231 (talk) 00:34, 5 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your welcome edit

I changed your userpage because I realized that {{User Degrassi}} implied fanship of the entire series, why the template only specified fanship of the DTNG. Since someone might want to create a Degrassi userbox, I figured it would be better to migrate everyone over while there were only a few people.--Max ( | ) 00:42, 20 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Louise Markus reversion edit

Dude, why did you revert all the Louise Markus edits? There was a bunch of references and stuff in there. Like, if you have a problem with parts of it, just edit those parts. No way could there be problems with the whole thing. Cheers, and good luck. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.107.72.85 (talk) 12:00, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

SAT DISCUSSION edit

check out the 10th and 12th references on the list. i didnt add the references because i havent figured out how to. would be grateful if you tell me, and even more grateful if you reinstate what i added to the page, because all of it is true. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.111.38.176 (talk) 22:25, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

You sent me a message... edit

I think you've got the wrong guy, I edited out "from you know where, natch." from the Allston, Boston, Massachusetts article. You reverted my edit and put it back in. :) 24.60.249.119 (talk) 01:00, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why did you take my blog listing out of all of the regional pages edit

who do you think you are? my blog is widely read in many regions. Its not an add. Please revert all of the secions that i headhunted my listing from. you have no ethics. revert now. i dont need averts. Your job on this website is to perserve it not to police it.

I dont care about your damn polices or your point of view about blogs. its my right to edit this website as much as your. leave the listing alone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.37.113.43 (talk) 04:25, 3 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Humorist edit

FYI, 'humorist' is the correct spelling whatever your flavour of English: I've reverted your good-natured edit to Jerome K. Jerome accordingly. Matthew (talk) 22:52, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Boo McLee edit

Sorry, that was a mistake on my part. Please, do go ahead and delete it. John (talk) 01:42, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Djibouti stuff edit

It's OK - I'm operating on long precedent here, trying to open up the last few remaining geo-stub categories that need to be done. I'm just following a model that's already been set up.

Kudos to you for your vigilance, though. And thanks for the tip o' the pin. --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 03:16, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Try to be a little forthcoming towards new geo articles -it is frightening what is missing. In saying this though I strongly agree with you these articles should be started with a reference and the infobox/locator map 11:42, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi Anabus,

You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout and soft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference.
