Himanshu is a Bengali theatre, film and television actor. It has been 40 years approximately, since he has been attached to the mancha (theatre). He started his television acting career and then moved to the big screen. In the year 2009, he debuted on the silver screen with the film Risk.

Biography

Anshu was born and brought up at Batanagar, Maheshtala, Kolkata. He completed his Masters in Economics from the University of Calcutta. He started acting in theatres (moncho) when he was 17 years old, has been performing on stage dramas since childhood. Anchoring; hosting shows; an active elocutionist; shruti natok; street drama; professional stage director and actor have also been a part of his works.

Career

Anshu started his acting career in television and acted in serials like Khela, Raat Bhor Brishti, Bonhishikha, Bou Kotha Kao, Jaya, Maa, Shati, Kanakanjali. Anshu made his big screen debut with the Bengali film Risk. He has also acted in movies like Flop-E and Bhalo Meye Kharap Meye. Active member of Bohurupee.
