Amber Nicole Taylor ( born March 6,1996) is an American graphic designer and visual artist known for her expressive graphics and creative visuals. She works and lives in her hometown of Los Angeles. Her works have earned her numerous awards and recognition.

Early Life

Taylor was born in Los Angeles, California. to Greg and Cynthia Taylor. Her father was a mechanic for BNSF. Her mother a stay at home mom who injured herself years before at her old job. When she was nine years old she picked up an interest in art after watching her mother draw stick figures while waiting tirelessly for an operator to answer her phone call. As a teenager Taylor took on art classes where her teachers were amazed by her work and recommended she take up her talent as a career. She joined an art academy while in high school and studied many forms of art. Her passion included fashion and graphics.

Taylor studied Fashion Merchandising at Long Beach City College. While a student Taylor indulged herself into the fashion world and picked up a knack for creating graphics for her blog. Tracy Emin became influence in her work. After graduating with her Associates degree in 2017, she took a break and took a few classes until she was ready to go back to school. In 2020 she got accepted into California State University Fullerton. She is currently enrolled and is studying Graphic and Interactive Design.

Education

Taylor attended Richard Gahr High School from 2010 until 2014. She studied art and fashion within the Arts Technology program that they offered. In 2014 after graduating, Taylor continued her education at Long Beach City College. She studied fashion merchandising where she was able to design for brand and immerse herself deeper into the world of graphics. Taylor is currently enrolled at California State University Fullerton and is anticipated to graduate in the fall of 2023.

In 2015 Taylor got her first break designing for spring samples for Zara.

All Music Newsletter

Taylor was able to curate articles from hot new artists and put together a digital newsletter for All Music. Taylor included Megan Thee Stallion on the cover. On the inside artists include Kehlani, Summer Walker, Bryon Tiller and many more.

Mc Donalds Ad

In 2021 Taylor rebranded and designed an ad for Mc Donalds flame grilled sandwich. The ad was a digital ad that was a generated popup on users screens.

Lindberg Nutrition App

In 2021 Taylor designed a fully functional app for a nutrition store, Lindberg Nutrition. The app was immersive. Users are able to travel through the history of the company and learn about all of the different products. The design allows users to interact with others and create profiles unique to their life styles. Taylor is expected to come out with an updated version which will allow users to shop through the mobile app.
