Odfjell is a Norwegian shipping company operating seven tank terminals and 96 parcel tankers. The company has its headquarters in Bergen, Norway and is listed on Oslo Stock Exchange.

Odfjell SE is one of the world's largest a global providers of storage and ocean transportation of bulk liquid chemicals, acids, edible oils and other special products. The company is fully integrated with in-house functions for chartering, operations and ship management. The headquarters is in Bergen, Norway. Odfjell Tankers has marketing and operational offices at strategic locations on all continents.

Odfjell Tankers edit

Odfjell Tankers fleet consists of close to one hundreded chemical tankers. All vessels have fully segregated cargo handling systems. The vessels are designed to carry many different cargoes at the same time. In 2013 Odfjell Tankers recieved its largest vessel ever, Bow Pioneer. With its 75,000 dwt, it is the largest chemical carrier ever built.

Most of the products carried by Odfjell are organic bulk liquid chemicals, acids, animal fats, edible oils, potable alcohol and clean petroleum products.

Odfjell Terminals edit

Odfjell Terminals is a global provider of tank stowage services. Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Antwerp (Belgium), Sohar (Oman), BIK (Iran), Singapore, Onsan (Korea), Dalian, Jiangyin and Ningbo in China. and Houston (USA).

Odfjell was originally established as a conventional shipowner in 1914. The first tanker appeared shortly before World War 2. In 1983 the first tank terminal was opened in Houston, Texas. By 2007, this had increased to seven terminals. In 1986 the company became listed on Oslo Stock Exchange.
