Battle of Sepekan
editThe Battle of Sepakan was a battle between the KDPI and the Islamic Republic of Iran during the Iran–Iraq War. This battle lasted for about two hours until the Islamic Republic of Iran fled the area where the battle resulted in a KDPI victory. During the battle, most of the KDPI peshmerga were divided and in total they were approximately 350 Peshmerga against the 3,500 - 7,500 Iranian soliders where the iranian soliders were scared to attack the KDPI - peshmerga because they knew that KDPI would retaliate against the Iranians. (according to those who fought).
During this war it was the case that the KDPI had 8 groups of peshmerga. One of these groups was Group 7. Group 7 ended up at the Northern Mosque outside the city of Sardasht where they fought for about 20 minutes. At the northern mosque, it was the case that the KDPI had approximately 70-75 peshmerga while Iran had 150 - 200 Iranian soldiers. In this northern mosque, it was the case that there was quite a large military battle where all the Iranian soldiers were. With this, it was so that KDPI had fired RPG - 7 bombs where they attacked the Iranian military fighting. After about 10 minutes, the KDPI took over the northern mosque outside Sardasht but needed to be sure that the Iranian soldiers had died.
After all this had happened it was so that 4 KDPI - Peshmerga ran to the Iranian Battle where the battle had started to burn. This meant that all the Iranian soldiers that were left had to go to the eastern part of the fight where there were about 100 Iranian soldiers left against 4 KDPI - Peshmerga. This caused the four KDPI - Peshmerga to flee the scene and run back to the northern mosque outside Sardasht. This caused the whole fighting camp to start burning which caused the other Iranian soldiers to surrender or die.
