aedixon is a copywriter and creative consultant with skills in HTML editing, visual design, and corporate communications, and additional expertise in advertising compliance (specifically automotive, law, and education), search engine optimization and information architecture. Published as "Amy E. Dixon", aedixon began her music journalism career writing for a small yearly gospel music journal at age 16. She became a regular contributor to CCM Magazine at age 17. Her byline then appeared in Syndicate, The Rock Music Report/Modern Music Journal, 7ball, Time-Warner Crossroads, Metromix.com, NME, Notebored, NUVO (newspaper), Release, and others.

As a former journalist, she strives to differentiate editorial with factual content--even for marketing purposes. SEO isn't manipulative, it's making sense of things for the benefit of your end-user. Marketing doesn't need to be manipulative to be effective.

She is no longer employed by Ashworth College or its affiliates as of April 2019.
