Arthur Henry Jenkins (15 August 1871 - 2 April 1940) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was Alfred Augustus Jenkins (born c. 1831) from England, a minister in the Scottish Episcopalian church, and Minister of St Peter's Church in Galashiels.
His mother was Johanna Wilson (1833 - 1915) from Fyvie in Aberdeenshire. Alfred and Johanna married in 1861.
Arthur Henry Jenkins was born on 15 August 1871 in Galashiels.[3]
He married Violet Edgecombe Shepherd (1876 - 1943) from Kendal in Cumbria, England. They married on 28 September 1905 in Methley, St Oswald, Yorkshire, England.

editHe died on 2 April 1940 in the Memorial Hospital in Crewe, England. His usual address was then 562A West Street in Crewe.
His estate was valued at £489, 6 shillings and 4 pence.
