Tre'von Adonis English (born July 20, 1989), better known by his stage name Adonis, is an American rapper, songwriter, and painter.
Career
editAdonis joined Tedy Andreas' group, Metal Gear, becoming the second member in the paired group. Adonis maintains the ranking along with Tedy Andreas as their fans await the first release under the label. Adonis appeared in the 2018 V-Don compilation album, The Bone Collector, and in V-Don's 2020 album, Black Mass, drawing acclaim[1] for incredible track work on the album. Since 2007, Adonis has been working on his solo career following his first release called Planet Vegeta on METALFINGERS beat Arrow Root.
In 2017, Adonis dropped his first lp with producer Revenxnt, Kold Hands a 4 track body of work that was exclusive to soundcloud which had a single/music video for the record Magnolia.
In 2018, Adonis collaborated with V-Don to release the collaborative EP This Thing Of Ours.
In late 2019, Don released another joint effort with DJ Skizz, Logan. Which Was Fully Produced by DJ Skizz & featured only one artist, Tedy Andreas.
Also in 2019, Adonis released Victoria via website bandcamp.com. The album features Tedy Andreas, a frequent Adonis collaborator, as well as I.Am.Tru.Starr & Bubu The Prince. With production completely from VHS.
By end of 2020, Adonis released his studio album I Spit On The Devil, via the website bandcamp.com. The album features guest appearances from Tedy Andreas, Dirty Dell, and Stevie Crooks. with production completely from Tedy Andreas.
In 2021, Adonis dropped joint effort The Lord Of The West with Thelonious Martin, with no features and total production by Thelonious Martin.
