Conception

edit

Aaspedia TV was conceived by Will Kando on the assumption that talented artist would gravitate to a dedicated website geared towards their freedom of expression. The main concept being that no censorship would be imposed upon their works. This would allow a great assortment of talented works that might not have been allowed on more main stream media sites. The whole ideal is to express an artist full potential as to what they are trying to convey to the public and not the other way around where the public dictates the type of art it wants an artist to reflect upon.

A World Apart

edit

A World Apart was Aaspedia TV's very first released animated video production and the first episode was called Mexican and Ukrainian Rescue which was later changed to "Rescuing Ukraine". It was officially released on May 3, 2014 on Youtube and on Aaspedia TV's website. The story line behind A World Apart is an alien family called the Uprin was sent to obit around the Earth's hemisphere and correct the wrong doing's on planet Earth with some alien karma.

The second released episode of A World Apart was on June 23, 2014 and was called UN SECURITY COUNCIL DEBRIEFING. It would be the last episode of A World Apart released unless Aaspedia TV finds an animator that can illustrate fluid movement and expressions.

Categories

edit

At the time of writing their are 3 categories set up within Aaspedia TV for the different style of profession the artist works in.

Cartoon Categories would entail the following sort of traits. Comic strip drawings. Greeting card illustrations. Magazines or Newspaper publications. Internet blogs and Logo Designs. An good example of a comic strip would be a cartoon series called "Spectickles" created by Bill Abbott. Spectickles is published on a daily bases in Newspapers, Magazines, Internet Blogs, and social media networks like Facebook.

Animation Categories include illustrations done in 2D and 3D that are animated. 2D animation could include hand drawn illustrations done repetitively and captured frame by frame onto a filming format. A good example of 2D animation is the works of Charles M. Schulz and his iconic classic Charlie Brown and the Peanuts. All of his works of Charlie Brown were hand drawn sketches filmed frame by frame. Where as 3D illustrations are normally done on a computer with the ad of powerful software that allows the artist to move their characters on screen. An example of a 3D animation done on a computer would be "Toy Story" produced by Pixar. Animation categories also could include clay design and puppeteering manipulation.

The Prank Category deals with any type of fails, gags, and pranks caught on video. This category is almost opened to anything that will make someone laugh or scare the wits out of them that was caught on video tape intentionally or otherwise by complete luck or mistake. Good examples of the Prank categories is a staged terror enactment called Chainsaw Massacre Prank orchestrated by Vitalyzdtv.
