Bapu Padmanabha born in Harihar which is in Davanagere District in Karnataka state of India.Bapu Studied his primary education in MKET school at Harihar then after completing his high School Bapu Shifted to Hospet steel city of Karnataka to pursue his 5 Yrs of Tool Engineering Course...
Musical training edit
Bapu's grand father "Bheema Rao" who was a Harmonium Player, Music was there in the blood but upto his 16th year Bapu was not attracted by any form of Music...Slowly He started to play Harmonium and tried some popular Filmy tunes on it,Bapu's grand fahter Bheema Rao started to guide him the essence of Classical Music on Harmonium...Bapu's younger sister was also a singer who was learning Indian Hindustani Classical Music under noted Musician 'Shivaraj Gavaayi' Bapu started reading her musical notes and started playing according to that Musical notes...after this He Shifted to Hospet...for his further studies...
Search for a guru edit
Bapu was studying Tool Engineering in HospetKarnataka.His knowledge of Music was limited to the notes of Harmonium taught by his grand father.He became so much obsessed with the Flute that he started treating his Idol Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia as his Guru in absentia.He purchased all audio cassettes of Hari ji and started imitating his style.

In August 1999 while pursuing 7th semester of his Tool Engineering,his urge brought him to Mumbai.Intially he had to face disappointment of not being able to seek a meeting with Hari ji and he returned to his college.Bapu was however in no mood to give up and he was finally able to meet his Guru Hari ji who admitted him to his class after the demonstration recital....
Since this trip to Mumbai was without the knowledge and consent of his parents,Bapu had no money with him.He use to attend Hari ji's classes in the morning and work as a waiter(with Pride) in a restaurant,earning just enough to sustain him in Mumbai this exposure for 45 days brought a new confidence and He was fully energized and charged up for a break...

Bapu completed his Tool Engineering course securing a first class in the year 2000,for a fresh Mechanical engineer,there were different options to get employment in Karnataka,but his mind was set to wards Mumbai because he had a feeling that his profession,finally would be a Flute and Music Composer rather than a Mechanical Engineer.Fortunately he was offered a job in TACO Tata Automative Components in Pune.He took it as a two fold blessing,firstly Pune being the best cultural centre of India and it being so close to Mumbai...
After a year He left the Job and dedicated his full time to his Musical career...
