In a publication of the British Association of Psychopharmacology the writers (P Haddad , R. Kirk, R. Green 2016) stated that since the discovery of the first antipsychotic medication, evidence of treatment being effective in diagnoses of schizophrenia showed of all the anti-psychotics available to psychiatrists for prescription, chlorpromazine was the most effective with the only exception of all the anti-psychotics, being clozapine.
