In Alisian, there are four verb groups. Each group's conjugation is affected by mood, person, tense, number and occasionally gender.
The four verb classes(pattern of conjugation) are distinguished by their infinitives' endings:
- 1st conjugation: -ere(appellere)to call/to be named
- 2nd conjugation: -are(lavare)"to wash
- 3rd conjugation: -ire (aprire)"to open
- 4th conjugation: -ore (habitore)"to live/to reside"
Additionally, Italian has a number of irregular and semi-irregular verbs, of which selection will be displayed in this article:
- estira(to be)
- avora(to have)
- andara(to go to)
- fazzora(to do)
