The Containbow is a sculpture located on Canning Highway towards Fremantle.[1] It depicts 9 containers all depicted with the colours corresponding to the Rainbow and all of the 9 containers were recycled sea containers promoting the environmental friendly campaign.[2] The sculpture has became a prominent landmark in Fremantle over the years and is also known to be a Fremantle icon.[3][4]

The sculpture is situated overlooking the Swan River and Fremantle Port and right next to Canning Highway making it easy for tourist to capture images while driving past.[5]

Tourism edit

The sculpture over time has became a popular tourism landmark in Perth and received widespread popularity on Instagram with multiple popular social media icons posing in front of the sculpture.[6]
