2006 Update edit

Couldn't this template be updated using 2006 data from the Census Bureau? And why is Hispanic data listed in rows and not in one column? Can't this be simplified?--Patrick Ѻ 19:11, 2 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Actually, couldn't it be updated using the mostly recent data, which is the 2005-2007 American Community Survey 3-Year Estimates? --Criticalthinker (talk) 10:12, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Interesting.
Would it be possible to eliminate what appears to be boldfacing in accordance with WP:MOS. Thanks. Student7 (talk) 03:54, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Bold is used for table headers per WP:MOSBOLD. Race and ethnicity is separated according to Race and ethnicity in the United States Census. As for updates, you're welcome to update the values. Census data files have changed structure a bit though. Gimmetrow 04:14, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the information. You might want to take a look at Vermont#Race_and_gender. The entire left column seems to appear in boldface on my display. Student7 (talk) 21:25, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, and therein lies the problem. How exactly would you suggest I site the new source? --Criticalthinker (talk) 08:48, 26 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
I just realized how old the ethnic and racial data is in the Demographics section of the Michigan page, but when I try to edit it, I'm not sure how to get to the template. Could someone give me a little help? I'd be happy to update it. --Criticalthinker (talk) 12:48, 22 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Can anyone tell me how to get to the template to change it? --Criticalthinker (talk) 06:07, 15 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Criticalthinker, go to the template page ( Template:US Demographics ). It may not look like there's any data on that page, but when you click the "edit" tab near the top of the page you should see all the date and be able to update it. --DavidCary (talk) 18:56, 12 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
