Question: why is the picture an onion...? :) Anthøny 10:04, 5 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

TOR stands for "The Onion Router" :). I still don't know what to think about the new version of the template (especially because it is not in its "blocked" state by default when 99.99% of the nodes that are marked with {{TOR}} are blocked). -- lucasbfr talk 12:50, 5 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Actually the overwhelming majority (~80%) of nodes tagged with this template are in fact not (yet) blocked, which is why I made the change - see e.g. nearly all the entries in Category:Tor exit nodes. Also, the default wording is intended to suggest that the node not only could be blocked at any time, but may indeed already be blocked. :) krimpet 13:28, 5 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Owww, I didn't know your bot was now tagging TOR IPs. You cheat, Doctor Jones! (not blocking, not blocking, not... gniii) -- lucasbfr talk 16:19, 5 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oh my, I did make one glaring oversight by not having the bot update |blocked= automatically. Should be fixed. ;) krimpet 17:12, 5 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I removed the image of the onions because it blocks the text. Which is more important in situations such as these? No need for images, especially ones that block the message. srly.65.189.45.80 (talk) 05:49, 24 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image and move edit

Please move it form Template:Tor to Template:Tor warning and replace onions image with File:Tor-logo-2011-flat.svg. --Rezonansowy (talkcontribs) 12:57, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Partly done: I've replaced the image per your request, but I think you should gain consensus using the {{Requested move}} process to get the page moved to Template:Tor warning. — {{U|Technical 13}} (tec) 14:16, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

I've closed the bold and switched the template to {{mbox}}. If there are any outstanding issues please reopen. — JJMC89(T·C) 15:32, 14 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Template-protected edit request on 10 April 2019 edit

Please remove the line: ([//toolserver.org/~overlordq/scripts/checktor.fcgi?ip={{PAGENAMEE}} confirm]) as the tool it linked to is no longer accessible at that url, which instead says We're sorry, but the user-supported tool you have attempted to reach did not leave a forwarding URL where we could automatically redirect you. Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 03:29, 10 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
