I like this template. It is very...visual. JHMM13 (T | C)     21:46, 1 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Suggestion

edit

The preferences tab now provides a setting that automatically warns the user when he/she is about to post an edit without a summary. Should reference to the availability of this setting be added to this template? Newyorkbrad 16:48, 13 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Which page parameter?

edit

Would anyone support adding a parameter to specify the page that the recipient of this message forgot the summary for? I have users wanting to know where they forgot. I can add the option myself, but would like to see support for this first. Also, someone might want to work on the wording when I am done.

One other detail: If we add the parameter metioned above, should we add {{TestTemplatesNotice}}? Will (Talk - contribs) 01:01, 12 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Suggestion:Add a greeting at the beginning

edit

I think this template should have an information icon and a greeting in the beginning like in Template:Editsummary. I think it would then appear more like a friendly piece of advice. Now it appears more like an instruction or command what to do... at least the beginning. This is the reason why I rather use Template:Editsummary. --Cryonic07 talk ° contribs 12:22, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'll add the following text to the beginning of this template tomorrow if there are no objections:

Hi there.
