Sorting

edit

Is this list sorted by any order? In general it looks like the list is sorted by the start date, but with some exception. I think it is better to have some sorting. --Quest for Truth (talk) 01:08, 10 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Panic of 1825

edit

Is there some reason why the Panic of 1825 is not listed here? It started as a banking crisis, but the sudden collapse of liquidity certainly caused a collapse of the stock market and widespread bankruptcies, so my assumption is that this omission was an oversight. If there is no comment after a few days, I'll update the template unless someone has already done so. J JMesserly (talk) 01:19, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Removing excessive entries

edit

I removed the following:

(1) Late-2000s financial crisis reason: There is already a link to "United States bear market of 2007–2009".

(2) Dubai 2009 debt standstill reason: There was no stockmarket crash or bear market. This was a trivial event that lasted for a few days before things returned to relative normalcy.

(3) European sovereign debt crisis (2009–2011) reason: This is a link to an article about a sovereign debt crisis, without being specific about any particular bear market or stockmarket crash. Gfcvoice (talk) 00:51, 20 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
