Linking of prenominals

edit

There is an RfC which may affect this template directly, at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Linking#RfC: linking pre- and post-nominals. --Redrose64 (talk) 22:42, 23 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

That discussion can now be found at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Linking/Archive 17#RfC: linking pre- and post-nominals Chuntuk (talk) 11:58, 20 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Size

edit

As |honorific_prefix= and |honorific_suffix= have now been formatted across a number of infoboxes to show up small, this template being set at 85% is causing titles to very small (for example). I can't think of where this template is used other than an infobox, and therefore I am suggesting that the default size should be made 100. In the rare case it needs to be smaller the option should be there too. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 21:49, 29 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

I have added a comment to the template page stating that size=100 should be used if used in infoboxes. If not, the "double smallin" that now occurs is contrary to MOS:FONTSIZE: "Avoid using smaller font sizes in elements that already use a smaller font size, such as infoboxes ... In no case should the resulting font size drop below 85% of the page font size". Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 14:16, 21 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
