Hampstead Lane Cut

edit

I have made a slight change here. The problem for me was which channel should remain straight, and which was the parallel lesser channel. I reckoned that the major channel was the river and the cut was subsidary, as more channels joined the river than the cut. Also the flow rate of the river was greater than the cut. I know there is a counter argument about the navigable channel being important. But if consensus is against me- the solution is simple! Is there a policy on this matter?ClemRutter (talk) 22:25, 1 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Icon for starting/finishing a river section

edit

Is the present method adequate or do we need an icon that shows that the river continues or flows in. It seems unfinished at the moment. I could image an icon with a swallow tail or three dots leading to a rounded line to show an entry point, and maybe the same with an arrowhead to show continuation. I can inkscape the icons if any are chosen. Any thoughts?ClemRutter (talk) 22:25, 1 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
