Please document better and remove {{val}} errors

This template's code is a bit of a mess; mixing include and no include - thought I could quickly fix the {{val}} errors problem, but I can't make heads or tails of the code. Can this be cleaned up by the original author or somebody that knows how it works? No page should report an error in {{val}} - even if it is an example for a template.     — SkyLined (talk) 22:41, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
