The page indicates that Gallium-67 is a beta-plus emitter. I'm fairly sure it is an electron capturer. The difference between its atomic weight and that of Zinc-67 is not sufficient to create a positron. This is supported by The Elements by John Emsley, ISBN 0-19-855568-7, and by the websites [1] and [2]. Also, the Electron capture page here lists it as EC. All sources agree on a half-life of 3.26 days. SamHB (talk) 03:59, 22 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

You're right, of course. Ga-68 is the positron-emitter, and Ga-67 decays by EC, and then is seen by scintigraphy using the gamma it emits after that. I'll fix the decay-mode table. SBHarris 04:36, 22 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

The OO31Ga isotopes have a sag in their halflives through their area of maximum halflife. OO31Ga66 has 9.5 hours, OO31Ga68 has 1.13 hours, OO31Ga70 has 21 minutes, and OO31Ga72 has 14.1 hours. And therefor the halflife of OO31Ga70 looks to be too low.WFPM (talk) 23:14, 27 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

The half-life values of the isotopes of an element will have a central tendency and a tapering away of the values on both sides. The OE isotopes profile of 31Ga Gallium has sag in the middle of the central tendency position, with OE31Ga70 only showing a half-life value of 21.1 minutes (log second value = 3.10). The neighboring comparative OE isotopes are OE31Ga68, with a greater half-life of 1.13o hours, (log second value = 3.61), and OE31Ga72, with a half-life of 14.10 hours (log second value = 4.70.WFPM (talk) 21:58, 16 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
