Template talk:Immovable Cultural Heritage of Exceptional Importance

Kosovo edit

My addition of a note on the disputed status of Kosovo has been removed, because:

These designations are only from Serbia's side.

The template is called "Cultural Heritage of Serbia"; not "Serbian Cultural Heritage Designations". The template includes links to pages which discuss (I quote) "monuments in the Republic of Serbia and in Kosovo" and is used on articles about places in Kosovo. In the interests of neutrality, the note should be restored, or the template removed from articles about places in Kosovo. No, you are not right. Those are designations 50+ years old,and include locations on kosovo, in serbia, and vojvodina. De jure (and still de facto, in some locations) these are still official by half of the world. You are welcome to create your own designation system, by RoK, but this one will not be removed until that "disputed" from independance is gone, and until those locations are officially striped from desitnations from Serbia's side. Only that is NPOV, while removal of that is actually pro-RoK POV. --WhiteWriterspeaks 14:21, 4 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Your first sentence is a mere assertion; it and your subsequent comments ignore my points that "The template is called 'Cultural Heritage of Serbia'; not 'Serbian Cultural Heritage Designations", that the template "includes links to pages which discuss 'monuments in the Republic of Serbia and in Kosovo'" and that it "is used on articles about places in Kosovo"; which are all inarguable fact. That and Assertions such as "will not be removed" give the impression that you are not listening and not interested in collegial discussion. I'm not sure what you mean by "your own designation system, by RoK", or how that helps. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 17:49, 4 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
This template is about Serbia, and for Cultural Heritage that is part of Serbian historical memory. It is not about Republic of Kosovo, the semi-recognised state. If you want that template, write down Template:Cultural Heritage of Republic of Kosovo. Please, follow agreed premise on wikipedia, that is stable for quite some time. Kosovo ≠ Republic of Kosovo and Kosovo ≠ Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija. --WhiteWriterspeaks 18:19, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Once again, you do not seem to be addressing the points I'm making. I have not argued that Kosovo = Republic of Kosovo or Kosovo = Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 20:02, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
By adding this flag, you did. We do not double disclaimers, as each article in question would already have one. --WhiteWriterspeaks 20:10, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
