AND
please replace [[Category:Wikipedia formatting and function templates]] with {{documentation}}. I have copied both the tag and the category over to the newly created doc page (Template:Hidden/FC/doc). Using the documentation template would eliminate the need for 2 separate "noinclude"ed sections, add a template-protected icon and categorize the page accordingly, and allow non-template-editors the ability to write documentation for the template (see above for a request from 2015 for documentation that still hasn't been written).
