It works

edit

It actually works! I'm amazed! A.Z. 05:00, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

You should probably explain its usage on its page, rather than just state it is "like the google template." Nice idea, though. Rockpocket 03:57, 14 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Documentation

edit

I moved the documentation to its own page: Template:Google images/doc and added fuller usage information and examples, similar to what was already in: Template:Google custom/doc. Also I pointed out that none of these Google search templates are suitable for use in articles. We only use them in talk pages and other process pages such as the Help desk. This template already contained code to display a warning in case of misuse, and now the documentation makes this clearer. --Teratornis (talk) 21:08, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

TfD nomination

edit

The result was keep: Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Log/2008 February 14#Template:Google images. Note: if anyone copies this template to make another Google-search-for-something template, please copy and edit the template documentation as well so your new template doesn't look like another violation of WP:EL, and trigger an unnecessary TfD nomination. {{Google images}} is not for use in articles, but only in talk pages and other process or project pages. --Teratornis (talk) 02:46, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
