Page move "Girne District" to "Kyrenia District" was realized by Akazi with the reason "Rv navigation duplication, the districts are coterminous". However, these are not completely coterminous:
1. "Girne District" is the administrative unit of de facto Northern Cyprus. Several towns and municipalities were founded after 1974 within Girne District.
2. "Kyrenia District" is the (in-exile) administrative unit of de jure Rep. of Cyprus. Hence, "Kyrenia District" does not include some of the municipalities of "Girne District", does not give any legality to those that established after 1974.
3. "Girne District" does not include "Guzelyurt (Morphou) District" including the city Morphou itself. However, "Kyrenia District" includes all of Morphou.
4. Just the English equivalent of Girne is Kyrenia does not automatically equalize "Girne Municipality" and "Kyrenia Municipality" to be the same.Formulaein (talk) 07:41, 18 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
