Hi,

I just wanted to inform everyone that the site englandstats.com has been edited today (24th November 2019) which affects this template.

As part of the celebrations by the FA for England's 1000th game this month they issued all present and past players with legacy numbers. Englandstats player ids have now been aligned with these official numbers. I have taken care as to not break any of the links on Wikipedia by maintaining the original id structure on the page englandstats.com/players.php this now forwards to the official id number on englandstats.com/player.php which is the new template. This is similar to an update I did on the site many years ago with the original source page playerreport.php. However, new links created on Wikipedia, going forward, will need to be adjusted accordingly whilst preserving the links already on Wikipedia. Is someone able to help with this?
