Terminology edit

The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, on its English website, equates hogescholen with "higher professional education institutions." See page 61 of "Tertiary education" (PDF). Eurydice; the education system in the Netherlands 2007. Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. 2007-11-01. {{cite web}}: Cite has empty unknown parameter: |coauthors= (help): "Dutch higher education comprises higher professional education (HBO) and university education (WO). These types of education are provided by HBO institutions (“hogescholen”) and universities respectively.” Also note that the term "universiteit" is legally reserved. I read the paragraph. In this case the Dutch Ministry only explains local terminology. It does recognize English-language terminology and its application to the Dutch vocational universities. See the article List of universities in the Netherlands and its talk page for more details. gidonb (talk) 00:12, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Intent to change edit

I will be editing this shortly categorizing the hogeschools by province governing them. This should address the structural design issues of the template. I mightn't be able to find where some of these hogeschools are, though. -- 6Sixx (talk) 12:04, 29 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rough draft here. Haven't added those with dead links just yet. I'll get to those later. -- 6Sixx (talk) 13:35, 29 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Looks good! Good luck, 6Sixx!
