The "1955" version is not a historical version as there was no change from that design to the later one, it should be removed! I also suggest we had the "war flag" of South Vietnam

Template-protected edit request on 17 July 2022 - redirect name

Add redirect |redir1= to Republic of Vietnam, and I don't know if the WikiProjects have discussed this, but since there's no ISO 3661-3 for many countries before 1974 especially, consider also the LoC MARC code (VS in this case, VN for North, VM for modern).  Partly done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. And please be aware that |redirx= parameters should have redirects that also take the form of "Template:Country data xxxx". The redirect you suggested would not be appropriate.
