Hello, there. The flag of Georgia has many historical variants, and this requested edit would add them.

Requested an edit yesterday to add flag variants. Forgot a bit of code. Think this should fix it. Thanks. Rockhead126 (talk) 18:26, 4 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Done. For next time, please don't delete any talk page comments! I know my comment just said "done", but it's harder to keep track of what went on if things like this are left out. Best — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 10:36, 5 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

SVG version of the 1902 flag edit

There is a SVG file on commons, replacing the PNG now used in this template. Can someone replace the PNG version of the 1902 flag with File:Flag of the State of Georgia (1902-1906).svg? Cycn (talk) 09:25, 21 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Georgian flag pre-1879 edit

Where's the Georgian flag from pre-1879. 174.95.44.225 (talk) 04:49, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Template-protected edit request on 30 July 2018 edit

File:Flag of the State of Georgia (1902-1906).png should be removed, as the file was deleted from Commons on June 27, 2018. Cheers, Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor 14:43, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Done for this template, although I don't know if links to it remain elsewhere (through transclusions of this template). Enterprisey (talk!) 03:48, 31 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Template-protected edit request on 29 June 2020 edit

Please add this flag file File:Flag of the State of Georgia (1902–1906).svg to the template. The 1902–06 flag of Georgia is not included in the template. Thanks! JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 05:20, 29 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Template-protected edit request on 29 March 2022 edit

Can someone please add Georgia in the {{{name|}}} parameter so that only Georgia instead of Georgia (U.S. state) is shown every time someone uses a template that transcludes this one, like {{flag|Georgia (U.S. state)}}, without adding |name=Georgia, because the proposed former option looks much nicer than the current one? -- PK2 (talk) 09:52, 29 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Not done: tried with this edit, but it did not work to alter the outcome in the {{Flag}} template, so I self-reverted the edit. To be clear, {{flag|Georgia (U.S. state)}} still outputed a link directly to "Georgia (U.S. state)", and the link did not appear as just "Georgia". The |name=Georgia was still needed to change the appearance of the link. So PK2, did you have something else in mind? (Ref. Is there any other way to edit this template so as to make the link appear as just "Georgia" by default while still outputting a link directly to "Georgia (U.S. state)", without having to add |name=Georgia to templates that transclude this one, like {{flag|Georgia (U.S. state)}}? -- PK2 (talk) 11:28, 30 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Just use the {{flagcountry}} template instead of the {{flag}} template. "Flagcountry" uses the shortname alias to get rid of the qualifier in parentheses. So for places like Georgia (U.S. state) or Georgia (country), if you don't want the qualifier to appear in the link, then you either use the |name=Georgia parameter in the "flag" template or you use the {{flagcountry|Georgia (U.S. state)}} template, which renders:
and for the country, {{flagcountry|Georgia (country)}} renders:
