Sequence sensitive cite template
edit@J. Johnson Hi, I realised this cite template this cite template needs the parameter information in the correct sequence order as specified below:
{{ Cite anss | <place*> | <year*> | <url*> | <title>}}
I'm using this template to for future citations to the ANSS event pages. One of these pages I've worked on is Lists of earthquakes#Largest earthquakes by country/territory, where I discovered if the order isn't correct, the ref won't pipe to the url. For example:
*{{Cite anss|M 8.1 – 97 km WSW of Isangel, Vanuatu |iscgem912618 |1920}}
*ANSS. "M 8.1 – 97 km WSW of Isangel, Vanuatu iscgem912618". Comprehensive Catalog. U.S. Geological Survey.
Are you able to work on the template code such that it isn't order sensitive? Dora the Axe-plorer (explore) 16:21, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
