Wikilinks

Should the documentation include guidance with regard to Wikilinking of the name elements? For example, the template at the top of the Helena Bonham Carter page currently links to Bonham Carter and Carter (name); the former also appears in the Family element of the infobox. I would suggest that these links are clutter and should not usually be provided. Labalius (talk) 14:16, 31 May 2020 (UTC)

In that case, the repetition seems unnecessary. I have no real opinion, but I see links in most name hatnotes, so it might be a wider MOS to question? Kingsif (talk) 17:19, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
