Removal of Planet of the Apps and Carpool Karaoke

edit

I have removed Planet of the Apps and Carpool Karaoke: The Series from the template. My reasoning comes down to the following:

  1. Both shows began before Apple began offering “Apple Original” programming through Apple TV+.
  2. Both shows are distributed through Apple Music, not the Apple TV+ “channel” in the Apple TV app. In fact, there is no Apple TV “channel” for these Apple Music shows at all.
  3. Planet of the Apps is no longer in production, and Apple has given no indication (as far as I know) that Carpool Karaoke will be an Apple TV+ program going forward.

Given that this template refers to Apple TV+ programs, and these shows are not Apple TV+ programs, it seems incorrect to include them. I also considered creating a separate section for these shows distributed through Apple Music but decided against it for this reason. --jonblatho/talk 01:13, 16 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Why does Foundation say canceled?

edit

I can’t find any references saying that Foundation is canceled, just that production is put on hold due to COVID-19. If that means that the show is canceled, then you also need to group several other Apple TV+ shows as canceled as well (https://deadline.com/2020/03/coronavirus-all-apple-tv-active-series-shut-down-see-mythic-quest-servant-for-all-mankind-1202882817/). If I don’t hear any corroborating evidence that Foundation is canceled in the next couple days, I am going to move it back to Upcoming. Rmaloney3 (talk) 00:32, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
