We're running low on biographies for the prep areas, so I'll be doing a few now (I wonder if I can bank DYK QPQs?). Anyways: The article is new, circa April 4, long enough, neutral, properly cited, and has a QPQ. I am going to have to go AGF on paraphrasing, because I don't have access to the books and I don't read Polish. The hooks are fine in length, and backed by citations. - Oh my god, the bureaucracy is soul-crushing.
The way I see it, you didn't propose a new hook, you proposed a minor change to an accepted hook - a fix you could have made during promotion under the DYK rules - an therefore you don't need to have someone else look at it. Apparently, having a second pair of eyes before promotion is only requested/required if you're making substantive conceptual changes in hook proposals. Sven Manguard Wha? 04:20, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
