Viktor Nikolayevich Sokolov
[[File:|x115px|Naval operations off the coast of Syria ]]
- ... that Vice-Admiral Viktor Sokolov received the thanks of the chief of the general staff for his service commanding a naval taskforce during the Russian intervention in Syria (naval operations pictured)? Source: A Russian video, but with English subtitles. The part where he thanks Sokolov and gives him instructions is at the very end of the video. - [1]
- Reviewed: Ripon Parks
- Comment: I think the video is very high quality and an interesting and somewhat unique accompaniment to the hook, showing the sorts of operations Sokolov was overseeing.

- Article is new enough, long enough, neutral, and well written. Hook is interesting and so is the video (this is the first time I reviewed a nomination with a video link), which is freely licensed. AGF for Russian sources. QPQ is done. No copyvio found. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zanhe (talk • contribs) 07:34, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
