  • Article reads well and is well-sourced. No issues with DYK eligibility. However, the hook is a little awkward and long; suggest alternative:
  • Thanks for the review. The ALT doesn't work so well, he composed MANY more works related to death than those two (there is this joke that when Brahms got funny he'd compose "The grave is my joy" - Das Grab ist meine Freude), and we lose the Luther Bible which seems essential (to me) because his Requiem is different from the "normal" Latin Requiem because of its text - which my not be known so well.   • I thought that might be a problem, but then I got distracted and forgot to work on another version fitting the Luther element in again. How about we remove the reference to the first work?   • As much as I like the idea, I would like to mention the (well known) Requiem, also think it's kind of quirky (and not so well known) that he composed THAT when he was young. Also I like to see the composer active, not the Bible (I would not know how to pronounce "Brahms's", however correct).
