Wikipedia:Orphan But now that this has come up, do you know where in the DYK rules this is mentioned? I've been checking for orphans, because I think it used to be in the rules. I don't see anything specific about orphans in the DYK rules, but it's my understanding that if an article is tagged at the top, such as "notability questioned," "expansion needed", or "orphan", then the tags should be cleared before it goes to the main page.
