Tony Bennett at the Talk of the Town

No, I did not know, and am happy that I do now, - thank you! Detailed article on plenty of good sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. - The hooks: I am not enthusiastic about them. The original puts more focus on Farnon than Bennett, the ALT talks about an attempt, and a general one. Better find something real, something specific, and more interesting, like his daughter at the Zoo, or two programs taken in one because of their (short) length. - Article: At the end, two very short paras should be combined, and refs sorted in ascending order. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:58, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for doing the review. The two article suggestions have been done (normally, I let the bots or the edit scripts fix the ref orders, since it's something easy for software to do but tedious for humans). As for the hooks, I agree that ALT1 is kind of lame, but I still like the primary hook about Farnon. It was the thing that surprised me the most when researching the article – here is this guy who composes light orchestral music, the kind of thing that most people only barely pay attention even when it's playing, yet he had this whole fandom about him that people would come to the tapings just to see him and hear it. (In part I think it's a British thing.) That this puts more emphasis on Farnon than Bennett is quite true, but that's the point – everyone knows who Tony Bennett is but few readers will know who Farnon is – yet people went because of Farnon – why? – that's the hook, that's why hopefully people will click through. I could make it a bit more detailed with:
Let me know what you think. Wasted Time R (talk) 02:08, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
I understand, and if it's intentional I go with you. I had an article yesterday, where more people clicked the not bold part than the bold at the beginning, which in that cas was not intended but good ;) - What do you think of more to the point rewording:
