Article is (barely) long enough and has been created on the indicated day and nominated 5 days later, just in time. The picture license is suitable for DYK. The hook fact is referenced to a source that is independent of the pub, even in the stronger version that the pub is "famous for its claim". Apart from the outstanding review by the submitting author, I have the feeling that the text is generally too close to its major source, though: duplication detector report --- Although there are no long word-for-word copies, there are many four or five word similarities that could be worded differently. Full new review due to re-write of article since previous review above. Article created 1 June, nominated 7 June - in my opinion acceptable at a stretch, due to current DYK review backlog which means that there are many far older noms still on this DYK talk page, and if/when this Swan & Edgar nom is promoted it is likely to go before a lot of the old ones. Article is long enough. No problems with disambig links or with access to external links. Nice, snappy hook which checks out online with citation #1. Hook image is free, and also appears in article. Article is written in objective manner and neutral style, fully cited. All citations checked for sources of copyvio and close paraphrasing; none found. QPQ done.
