Springs Mills Building

5x expanded by Epicgenius (talk). Self-nominated at 22:32, 3 October 2019 (UTC).

Interesting building, fine expansion on excellent sources, the few offline sources accepted AGF. Hook: I'll wait. The original reads complicated, ALT1 hides the name, ALT2 says more about models than the subject. How about the opening for 75 years (could mention pillows), or the times of construction and being listed (could mention model of UN, and/or hexa tower)? - The first source just calls it Springs Building, is that a commonly used name? Really no image? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:45, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
@Gerda Arendt: Thanks for the review. I just took some images yesterday, but none of them are really good, due to the fact that the only way to view this building is from the narrow streets next to it (the building is in the middle of the block, sandwiched between taller skyscrapers). The official name these days seems to be "104 West 40th Street", but "Springs Mills" was the official name of the company that built it. How about hooks ALT3 & ALT4? epicgenius (talk) 15:02, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for all. I like ALT4 best! I bet most people will have an idea how that building looks, so may imagie even without a pic. If you'd prefer the pillow, please find something more elegant than the phrase "its namesake pillowcase-making company". --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:41, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
