Sofía Gómez edit

Created by Joseph2302 (talk). Self-nominated at 10:33, 8 September 2018 (UTC).

  • Article is new enough and long enough. Where in the source is the birthdate? Source #1 does not give years as far as I can tell. There are a bunch of sources whose Spanish is above my language skills. Is deeperblue a reliable source? ALT1 is slightly more interesting but it's not entirely backed by the article. No copyvio or plagiarism that I can see. QPQ is OK. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 19:14, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Added a new source for date of birth (primary sources are acceptable for factual information like this). Also I corrected ALT1, as it was 2 days after, as per this source, which says "Just two days after Colombian Freediver Sofía Gómez Uribe set a new CMAS Freediving World record by diving 83m in the Constant Weight Bi-Fins discipline, she has furthered her grasp on the record by diving to 84m today." Joseph2302 (talk) 19:32, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Not sure if it is a reliable source, looks like it might be user submitted content. But it's also in the El Espectador article, in the paragrpah which starts "Atada a una línea de acero con un arnés". Joseph2302 (talk) 20:22, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Removed everything just sourced to Deeper Blue, and added different sources where I could find them. Joseph2302 (talk) 19:16, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
  • That source says she's a civil engineer, but I added a primary source for her education, which is permissible per WP:BLPSPS. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:21, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
  • SOurce #5 does not mention Trujilo or the Bolivarian Games. I don't think that "The record was beaten at the 2017 CMAS World Championships by Artnik and Ukrainian Nataliia Zharkova, both of whom dived 85 metres (279 ft)." is entirely supported either. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 06:47, 18 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Added another source- the Bolivarian Games was in the sources that you told me to remove, which was why it temporarily became unsourced. And the 85m is clearly in the source. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:57, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Removed the "record is broken" from source. Joseph2302 (talk) 19:52, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
