Smuggler Mine edit

Tailings piles and surface facilities at Smuggler Mine

  • ... that the largest silver nugget ever mined had to be broken into three pieces to be removed from Smuggler Mine (pictured) in Aspen, Colorado?
  • Reviewed: George Washington (Houdon)
  • Comment: Sorry for nominating this late ... I've been a little preoccupied with getting ready for Wikimania. I would be happy to review additional articles if desired, as penance.

Spot checks on sources show no copyvio problems. Hook is well-sourced. I see no problem with the late submission - it met DYK size criteria the day it was started, July 3. Neutral, sourced, readable, interesting, good to go. Aymatth2 (talk) 16:12, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
