I'm puzzled! #1 says text and melody were written in 1975, #2 says they were written in 1979, and the article mentions 1979 and 1989. I will do a full review when that is sorted out, but meanwhile can I suggest ALT1- ALT1 ... that the 1979 German song "Selig seid ihr, wenn ihr einfach lebt" offers eight beatitudes which include a blessing for living simply, and another for daring to be kind?
