  • Comment: Article moved into mainspace on 18 June 2012. Please note that I started this article with a copy of an article that is published under Creative Commons, but it's been greatly expanded from there. The article is good enough, I believe, that it could be considered for the lead hook.

  • Comment/Review:

Article is new and is quite comprehensive; within criteria. It is 22,089 bytes as of this date. Much of it is taken from a public domain source so out of copyright. No apparent problems with text. Image is over 100 years old and is from same source. Minor problem: link for Gardner, W. J.. George Henry - Biography "1m52". did not work for me; my settings or the link? Link is citation for a minor point but perhaps it still should be checked. Has 39 references and numerous inline citations. A number of red links but I assume editor intends to add articles - and is not a DYK negative in any event, as near as I can tell. Hook is proper length and is interesting. It is supported by a citation. Neutral article; subject is long deceased. I think this is ready to progress to the queue. Donner60 (talk) 06:09, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the review. I've fixed the broken reference (that was me trying to remember the order of attributes in a template); good that you spotted that. I only ever put redlinks in when I'm 100% certain that notability criteria are met. Schwede66 10:45, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
